Chambers' fifth generation of Pixelscapes takes on a kinetic identity through the utilization of the lens applet. PFG-2 is shown to the right, and allow your vision to play on both fields (background and simulated foreground via magnification and movement) to establish a relationship - distant and close - between the two. It's also interactive by placing the cursor on the lens and moving it about for closer study. Other examples/links follow:

Since Pixelscapes are Minimal Art, as you look through the lens, you're glimpsing a Minimal World - in the same sense astronomers glimpse through their telescopes to see another Minimal World: the Universe.
